This coffee helped me break my coffee shop habit April 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This coffee is dark and rich -- when used with the Keurig pod system, on the strong brew, it is as good as Cafe Ladro in Seattle -- really a good blend w/ the Keurig machine.
Yummy March 29, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This has quickly become one of my favorite coffee K-Cups. It is rich tasty and stands up to the Mug (8oz) size. Love it!
Love 'Em March 17, 2008 Love these k-cups. I had tried some of the sample coffees that came with the Keurig and was very concerned that the k-cups were just very weak and not robust. I found out through reviews on Amazon that the bold k-cups might be for me. They are and this Rainforest Espresso is intense, robust, delicious!
The Winner February 16, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the hands down winner of the K-Cup full body, dark coffee battle. Don't get this if you like the "weak, watery" morning blends, Nantuckett blend, etc. If you are drawn to Black Magic, Black Tiger, Dark Magic, Eclipse, etc. (I've tried at least 10 bold/extra bold varities)then this is the best of the batch. The espresso name is, of course, useless and misleading. There is not and will never be an espresso shot made with a K-Cup machine. For that, pony up for a Nespresso and get the yellow/blue pods.
Nevertheless, this is as close to French Press as I've found in a K-Cup. I think it is Sumatran or a blend including Sumatran as it has that earthy flavor. It's the first K-Cup that I expected to see "mud" in the bottom of the cup after finishing. I had not been that impressed with other Timothy's pods but this is as good as it gets.
Not strong...just right! February 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like this alot...just got it today and having for afternoon. Definitely not too strong...stands up well to Coffeemate and sugar...I like this one the best so far. Bought the Italian and way too weak. Always looking for something new to try. Love this coffeemaker...the best ever...so easy! Just trial and error to find the right coffee. Know I hit a winner this time.
