Tim's K Cups No Worky So Good May 15, 2008 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
Sadly I had a terrible experience with Timothy's brand K-Cups. Only occasionally (1 out of 5) would these cups work properly in my maker--never had a problem with ANY other K-cup we have purchased (and we have 5-6 brands in the drawer at any given time). These cups would almost always back up into the maker creating a huge mess and half an undrinkable cup of coffee complete with most of the grounds from the K cup.
Look like I just got a bad batch, but by the time I realized these were problem cups, the Amazon 30 day warranty had run out, leaving me no recourse other than to give them a negative review.

Two years ago if you gave me a cup of coffee I'd say thank you and probably not care about the flavor. Well, I'd care but not be fussy. I always preferred fresh ground coffee and something with a fairly bold flavor, but I wasn't that picky. Over the last couple of years I've gotten more and more picky. Before Christmas my favorite was Jamaican Blue Mountain brewed fairly strong. It's a wonderful coffee with a very smooth flavor but a little on the oily side. Then along came Keurig....
My work started using Keurig machines about a year ago. All they have is Green Mountain and I started with Columbian Supremo, then I tried Dark Magic Extra Bold. I loved the flavor but don't care for the finish, it's a little harsh and bitter for my taste. I flip flop between French Roast and Dark Magic daily at work. But for Christmas my wife bought me a B60 Special Edition. I've been experimenting at home ever since. Diedrich French Roast did not impress, Sumatran Reserve is quite nice, Lake and Lodge was quite a surprise and didn't last long (reminder to self - order more of that...) and finally I have tried this Extra Bold Rainforest Espresso. AWESOME!
This coffee is bold, flavorful, it has a slightly sharp finish but is not bitter like Green Mountain Dark Magic. I am currently drinking my first cup made at medium sized cup from my B60. I think a small cup would be a blast for breakfast or after dinner. For those who like a bold taste but maybe a little weaker I think this would even stand up to going with the "Large Mug" size, and even my Sumatran Reserve didn't stand up very well to that. In the end, if you like a strong, flavorful, smooth cup of coffee that doesn't get bitter at the end, this is a great cup-a-joe!
If you hate weak coffee, this is for you May 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my favorite k-cup offering. It makes a nice, strong, smooth cup of coffee. I find most of the k-cup offerings to be much too weak. This is just right. I do warn, however, that you really have to like BOLD coffee to enjoy this. But if you do, this is perfect.
Have a cup or two before you stare blankly at your computer for the next 8 hours. May 5, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Timothy's extra bold coffee is just what the doctor ordered to keep me from punching my computer screen at work.
If it weren't for the burst of energy and inviting aroma, I don't know what I would do Monday through Friday, 9 to 6.
Thank you, Timothy's coffee, for keeping me alive and well.
