Almost Perfect July 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is true that it is difficult to brew less than 2 mugs of tea in this tea press. And yes, a few tea leaves can get through the holes. But the simple concept, beautiful design and reasonable price make this a five star winner.
A necessity for any tea lover May 16, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is one of my favorite things in my kitchen. It is the perfect size for one person who wants more than one or two cups of tea. It's nice looking and retains heat well (I wrap mine in a tea towel and it works just great) without being too hot to hold. The ONLY thing I would change about this is I wish the holes on the infuser part were a tiny bit smaller- some of my finer black teas sneak through sometimes, but nothing one of those strainer thingies can't help!

Nice to have if you are making tea, loose or bagged, for up to 4 people.
Excellent little teapot! March 30, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really love this little teapot. It sits on my desk at work. I come in every morning, put a couple of scoops of my oolong tea in it, and fill it up with hot water from the bottled water dispenser. That's the perfect temperature. Let it sit until the color looks good, then I push down the plunger and enjoy! Cleanup is easy, I dump the leaves into the waste basket and quickly rinse using the water dispenser again since I don't have a sink in my office space. I don't have a problem with the tea getting cold, but that may be because I drink it so quickly. It's really the easiest time I've ever had of making tea, just short of a teabag in a mug in the microwave! It's also very attractive and I think it's kind of fun. Do be careful, it does feel about as fragile as a coffee pot.
Great Item! March 19, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This tea press prepares a nice cup or more of tea. It is easy to use and clean and looks great sitting out on the counter.
