 Always great; now better December 9, 2008
We've had a couple of cards since they came out. The latest improvements, some simple, like custom file names continue to make the card more useful. It's a great product.
We use it with an office camera to capture whiteboard information. Map a drive to a network share and everyone has access.
The other way we use it is at events. We set it up to drop pics on a Flickr feed and automatically update our company website with event photos.
Highly recommended and always being improved.

I really wanted to like this product, but I have found it to be a nuisance under OS X (I have the latest updates for everything). When the card wants to connect (because it is not when YOU want to), the manager will transfer some files and then will crash. After that, it is a matter of invoking black magic spells to see if the stupid thing will want to sync again with iPhoto.
I oftentimes get so frustrated that I just plug in the card directly to the computer, which defies the whole purpose of having a wireless SD card. When it works, it won't transfer movies from your camera, and it won't delete the pictures that you have already downloaded to iPhoto. So guess what? You need to connect the card to your computer; defying, yet once again, the whole purpose of a wireless SD card.
In a nutshell, you will end up plugging this SD card to your computer more times than actually using it wirelessly. I don't know if it works fine un Windows, but as far as OS X goes, this is buggy and a royal pain in the butt to work with.

I never thought it would work.....who knew!!!
I have used this on a Canon SD1100is and a Canon g9. Both cameras were set to Superfine and Large quality modes. I paired this with both a pc and a mac for testing purposes. WOW.
I was astounded at the speed in which my images would upload over wifi to my computer. No more removing memory cards, futzing with usb cables...NADA. Do what you do best...take pictures and forget the REST.
The card will upload to flickr, smugmug, etc....
Great product, great pricing, and superfast amazon delivery.

Typical workflow with a digital camera:
1) take picture
2) connect camera or memory card to computer
3) copy photos to computer
4) move photos from computer to sharing site, like Flickr or Facebook
New workflow with the Eye-Fi:
1) take picture
That's it. Eye-Fi automatically copies your picture to your computer and to your website. The photos will be kept private until you make them public.
One downside to this is that your camera obviously must be powered on while the Eye-Fi handles steps 2-4 for you. This may take 30-60 seconds, which may remind you of the old Polaroid days while you waited the minute for the picture to develop. It runs the batteries down a bit faster, too, since you change your "auto-off" settings to give Eye-Fi time to do its thing.
Remember, too, it only works with a Wi-Fi network which you can configure. So, Eye-Fi is connected to my home network, and when I'm home and take a picture, it functions as described above. If I'm out and about, the upload won't occur until I'm home and power up the camera again. You know how you can go to a hotel and get a password at the desk to connect to their network? You'll have to go in the Eye-Fi configuration and add the hotel settings there -- it's not enough to have your computer find the network, as the Eye-Fi operates independently. (If this is an issue for you, buy the other Eye-Fi that works anywhere).
You will love this, especially if you share pictures. It's one of the best gadgets I've purchased for the camera.

Save your money and buy a card from San Disk for about 1/5th the cost.
Card worked O.K. until they did an update and since then I have been unable to download wirelessly.
I can only get my pictures by removing the card and inserting it into the reader and plugging it into my computer, this I paid $79 dollars for?
As bad as this card is it is only topped by Eye-Fi's support or should I say non-support. There is nothing online
that addresses this problem and forget emails they never respond.
Their ads seem to good to be true and they are in my case.
