Forgo the MLM crap that the Monavie moonies try to entrap you in. At forty bucks a bottle with a mysterious percentage of actual acai berry juice I think you can make your own version of Monavie by buying a bottle of organic fruit juice from Trader Joe's and mixing some of this acai juice with it.
As for the taste: I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about but they must be used to a heavily sugared diet because this juice does NOT taste bitter or unpleasant at all. It is bland, almost a 'nothing' taste which makes this ideal for mixing into a mixed fruit juice or apple juice or whatever.
After a weird Monavie sales pitch from my son's high school baseball coach I decided to look into acai juice and decided that I'd give this product a try. I'm not sure if it is psychosomatic or not but I do feel an increase in my energy levels.
I recommend this acai juice to anyone not wanting to spend $[...]/month on a Monavie scam.

This is a very good product. It does have a slightly bitter taste. I have to chase it with iced tea. I don't know if that's allowed.

This stuff is really strong and slighty bitter. However, it is great with a little sugar added. You can also add it to yogurt, a smoothie, a shake, or a sweet lassi. It really gives you a lot of energy. All you need is an ounce of acai to get you going in the morning.
WARNING!!! Do not drink acai in the evening or before you go to sleep. You will not sleep good on it. When you wake up you will have a bad headache and your head will be swimming.
Also do not have more than one ounce (2TBSPs). You will get a headache.

Great Seller! Acai 100 the best on market. Read study done by University of Florida about the acai berry. The taste is rough but I mix it with other juices."
