 Beautiful Raw Chocolate at Fair Prices! January 27, 2008

I have been procrastinating about buying raw cacao powder for months because it can be so expensive. I was so happy to find it on amazon, AND to be able to get it at such a great price! With Amazon Prime, I didn't have to pay shipping either. It was sent quickly! This cacao powder is so good. Did you know raw chocolate is not only NOT bad for you, it's actually an extremely healthy super food? You can shop at some of the more notable raw online shops and pay twice as much or more, AND pay shipping fees, or you can buy from Amazon and receive equally delicious, wonderfully healthy RAW cacao powder for much less. I whipped some up with raw coconut butter, dates, almond extract, a bit of sea salt, some cinnamon, and a tiny bit of cayenne (may have added some raw honey or raw agave, i can't remember) to make a heavenly, healthy chocolate fudge frosting (more like chocolate syrup at room temp). Mix it in with frozen banana (run through your juicer with the blank plate to make soft serve), and you have the best chocolate ice-cream on the planet! I added some cacao nibs and walnuts for good measure. Took 10 minutes, and I didn't use a recipe. You can't go wrong with this stuff! I can't wait to make limitless, healthy chocolate goodness, and I will certainly order it here when I run out. By the way, you get TWO bags with this item. It's so flavorful, you don't need much. That's TWO lbs! highly recommended!

I admit I mostly picked this brand because of the price, I've never found it so cheap! The taste is great, though, and I've had hot chocolate or a smoothie every day since I got it in the mail.
The smoothie is the best - I blend frozen bananas with vanilla soymilk, peanut butter and a couple tablespoons of cacao powder.

GOING NATIVE NEVER TASTED SO GOOD. I NEVER KNEW WHAT REAL CHOCOLATE TASTES LIKE. THIS IS HARD CORE INTENSE SILKY AND INTOXICATING. OMG ITS SO RICH YOU CAN OD ON IT. BE CAREFUL. ONE TEENY TEASPOON IS ENUFF IN SHAKES OR CHOCOLATE MILK. RICH! RICH! RICH! RAW COCOA, NOT PROCESSED AND DEFATTED. OMG ITS TRULY THE FOOD FOR THE GODS. I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT IT AGAIN. TALK ABOUT A CHOCOLATE RUSH, PEEPS! THIS IS IT.

I've been using regular Hershey's cocoa powder to make hot chocolate for a while. It's good, but it tends to be bitter and strong.
With this cocoa powder, it was different. It was rich, but milder, with less bitterness. The best cup of hot chocolate I've ever had.

good for being raw chocolate. tastes like beloved chocolate w/o the sweet and w/o the bitter! not as rich, obviously. but bonus points for being healthy and having significant anti-oxidants.
