fabulous September 1, 2008 This is the best product which does exactly what you want it to do and that is squeeze citrus fruits without any effort.
CitrusMate Plus August 22, 2008 For the price, this juicer works better than I expected. I am very pleased with how well it extracts the juice from the fruit and makes an easy job of it. I love to make lemonade and hate to use a manual juicer. This appliance is great!
Easy to use and cheap juicer August 19, 2008 Of course this is a citrus juicer. It easily juices lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, etc. I've not had a problem with it. There is only one question I've had with it. It comes with a clear plastic lid, which I haven't found much of a use for (didn't read directions). If I put the lid on with a citrus fruit inside, it doesn't juice very well. I've been using my hands to get the job down.
itrus mate juicer August 11, 2008 Found that the juicer works quite well. Has strong enougn motor, and both the reversable action, and the modifiable pulp control were great. Flimsier than my older work horse, it remains to be seen how it holds up. But at $15.95, it doesn't have to last forever.
Black & Decker CJ525 CitrusMate Plus Citrus Juicer July 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
What a great little juicer! I've been using it daily for about a month. PROs: BLACK & DECKER: Always a good bet. HEADS: It has two different sized heads. A small one for lemons and limes snaps into the strainer. It comes with a larger head that drops over the smaller one for use with oranges (I've also been doing 1/2 a grapefruit with it and it's functioned flawlessly!). The heads are serated at the top to help pull out all the juice. STRAINER: The strainer consists of two parts. The top part holds the heads and has large slots for the juice to go through. The bottom part snaps under the top part and has three adjustments for the amount of pulp you want to allow through. MAINTENANCE: Comes apart and cleans easily. BOWL: is clear so you can see how much you've juiced. Handle is comfortable. Before you can start the motor, the bowl must be securely snapped in place on the base, keeping things from flying around the room. (In my kitchen, that's a big plus.)
CONs: The strainer and heads are made of light-weight plastic that doesn't feel very sturdy. The symbols indicating how much pulp you're letting through partially smeared off. Don't know what caused that.
