Ditto Ditto! This is a great dip. April 22, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm not a huge fan of fruit. I am a huge fan of chocolate. I am always dieting and having this stuff to dip berries, especially strawberries, is just what the doctor ordered. It does impart just the right amount of chocolatey-ness to make you think you're eating chocolate-covered fruit. I've tried it with very favorable results with strawberries and even orange segments.
Many of Walden Farms' products are not to my liking, but this one is well worth the money. I think Ms Bad Review, below, probably tried to eat the sauce like either straight (which wouldn't be awful, just underwhelming) or I don't know what. I can't imagine anyone finding this stuff to be BAD. At worst, it's just, "eh."
Awesome! February 18, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This stuff is awesome. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, it's best when you dip fruit into it, but, if you freeze it for about a half-hour, it is delicious alone! I'm trying to figure out a way to mold it and freeze it in cute shapes, but for now, just little blobs will have to do. Add a little WF marshmallow cream on top for looks and taste. And there you have it: calorie-free chocolates!
Not half-bad February 16, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nobody will mistake this stuff for a fondue pot full of melted 65% Valrhona, but I think this is pretty good for dipping strawberries into for a daytime snack. The trick is that it's a dip, so you have to dip something into it. You won't enjoy it if you stick a spoonful of it in your mouth, but mixed with fruit or other flavors, it adds a pleasant chocolatey taste. Most people I've given it to have enjoyed it and a few have hated it; it may be one of those things like grapefruit that you're either genetically able to tolerate or not.

how do these people stay in business??? I bought this in the hope it might be good. One taste and I put the lid back on and threw it wear it belonged...the trash.
Moral of the story, if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
