Ok. I'm addicted. Now I can't always find them! February 2, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I first tried these when visiting Chicago, and got them at Jewel/Osco. I really loved them, and was glad to find them in South Florida at Albertson's. I have been a Thomas' devotee for ages, and now I have a new absolute favorite. I love the sourdough, whole wheat, and original. Though original i like best. With Breakstone's whipped salted butter on it, and it's a slice of heaven! I just wish it were easier to find now that I'm back in New England!
Outrageously good! January 23, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I grew up in Kansas City, MO, so Wolferman's English muffins were for a long time a staple in my home. I've tried a lot of different muffin brands, from cheap store brands (not worth the money) to higher-end commercial brands. NOTHING beats these Bays muffins!
They're not fork split -- they're actually sliced, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They still have plenty of "nooks and crannies" for the melted butter due to the high-quality yeast they use. Pop 'em in the toaster, and you'll get a nice crispy exterior and a chewy and flavorful interior. The flavor is wonderful -- just the right amount of yeastiness, but no "sour" taste. Great for breakfast with butter and a little marmalade or jam, but they also hold up well under heartier accompaniments or in sandwiches. The flavor still comes through.
I made room in my refrigerator's freezer for these, even giving up some ice cream room! The sacrifice was worth it.
Muffin Heaven November 12, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These English muffins were on sale at my local grocery, so I tried them and OH MY GOD, they were so very delicious. Once you have tried these, there is no way you could go back to Thomas's or , heaven forbid, store brand English muffins. They simply don't stack up to the flavor and texture of Bay's English muffins. I am now ruined for regular English muffins, which is terrible because they are more expensive, but awesome because they are so delicious.
Best English Muffins anywhere November 3, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful

Discover true happiness on Amazon's Grocery Shelf ? August 1, 2006 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
A food - successful since 1933 - BAY's English Muffins are now on amazon.com's grocery shelf. This is a happy surprise for anyone with freezer space to spare. The muffins are available in six-count packages, and are the only ones I've discovered that don't need a knife for 'HALVING'. They toast beautifully so you'll want to try my favorite BAY.com recipes for Heaven-sent concoctions!
These will definitely put you in a languid mood: "Asparagus- prosciutto Benedict" and "Spicy Jamaican Benedict with lime Hollandaise."
Reviewer mcHAIKU suggests that for downright comfort in its simplest form, just combine a toasted muffin with an authentic & elegant marmalade. Then brush the cornmeal from your chin and prepare to lie in BLISS - in a handy hammock! You can meditate on the ease of discovering true happiness on Amazon's grocery shelf!
