I both this as a Birthday gift. He was so excited to get it. The last time I spoke with him he said it had new leaves sprouting. It was in great condition when received.

I just got my bonsai tree today. Although it has a weird curvy trunk it looks great!... It looks very healthy and i cant wait for it to grow more beautiful green leaves.
More than I expected for the price February 4, 2008
It didn't look much like the picture. Mine stands about 12 inches tall with the pot. It has a slightly coiled trunk and the leaves are in perfect shape. The pot is bigger than I anticipated. It was packed perfectly and the shipping was super fast. Great deal for the price!

The tree arived perfectly packed in a box filled with styrofoam peanuts.
The base was wrapped in a plastic bag and nestled in a styrofoam cutout that kept it secure and upright.
There wasn't a single leaf out of place and the tree showed no signs of stress from the trip.

Got my order really fast, didn't realize what I was getting myself into, probably should have ordered the book with the tree. Love the tree none the less, looks great and I haven't killed it yet!
