This tea is for real tea lovers who like a smooth no frills robust black leaf tea. I have found Barry's of Cork to exceed my expectations for a wonderful relaxing experience. Make a pot. What you don't drink hot, it's excellent iced.

Since its founding in Cork, Ireland, in 1901 Barry's Tea has been known for its excellence. Indeed, Barry's Tea now accounts for 34% of all tea sales in Ireland. This wonderful tea is a blend of mainly African teas with some Indian teas. It has a nice golden-brown color and a crisp aroma. But, the best thing about it is its taste!
This is an excellent black tea, one which I enjoy every chance I get. Also, it not only tastes great hot, but it makes an excellent iced tea. So, if you are looking for a tea that tastes great hot and cold, then get Barry's Tea's Gold Blend. I highly recommend it.

AFter a trip to Ireland, I came home to my very nice Assam from Peets, but it just seemed bland compared to the rich strong flavor of Irish tea, so I went online and found Barry's. Never going back...

This transaction was the best the tea was wonderful. Great seller and would recommend this site to all people but especially those of Irish Decent. I gave my Brother-in-Law some of the other products purchased and it made his feel like he was home for a visit (being from Ireland). Thanks Again
