Product Description Hi-chews are a soft and chewy candy from Japan. It has a similar texture to bubblegum but it never loses it's flavor. You get the same great taste in every chew until it melts in your mouth. A wonderfully delicious treat for everyone. Each pack contains 12 individually wrapped pieces.

THE BEST CANDY OUT THERE October 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have always been a candy person as long as I can remember and I came across this candy while I was spending time in Japan. I was instantly hooked. The flavor in these candies are awesome. I found myself picking a pack of these up almost everytime I was near a place that sold them. I brought a bunch home and shared them with friends and family. I haven't met a person yet who doesn't love them. Personal preference is purple grape and green apple. Some may disagree but the version of this candy with the english words "Hi Chew" are not as good as the Japanese version. Different wrapping and different texture slightly. Buy some of these today! They are amazing!

This chewy taffy-like candy is a staple here in Japan. Get a bunch of these and a pot of coffee and you'll be able to finish you thesis in one night! Well, perhaps that's an exaggeration, but you get the picture.
