Product Description Diamond is truly one of the world's greatest coffees! - Modern Luxury-Angeleno Magazine Diamond coffee can only be compared to 'cult cabernets'; it is as smooth as velvet - M. Estrin, Somilier at The Wine House, Westwood, CA This is our Private Reserve coffee, and coffee just simply doesn't get any better than this! Kona coffee has long been considered the finest in the world and DIAMOND is truly the gem of our private Kona plantation. A very tiny portion of our crop each year qualifies to be our Private Reserve DIAMOND selection, so this coffee is very special indeed. Our Master Roaster describes the flavor of our DIAMOND coffee as 'somewhat smoky and woodsy' and coffee aficionados detect a hint of natural citrus in the aroma. This is an unusual, rare, and truly extraordinary coffee. This is our dessert coffee - a coffee that we recommend you prepare only a few cups at a time, carefully, and with filtered water, please. This is the absolute perfect coffee to conclude a fine dining experience. So perfect, so smooth, we recommend you sip and savor this coffee as you would a fine port wine (please, no cream or sugar until you taste it first!) And for lovers, what better way to end a romantic dinner than to serve the finest, rarest coffee in the world...

Great Gift for Coffee Lovers September 14, 2008 The coffee is exquisite, there's no doubt, and if you are looking for something impressive to give as a gift, this is a great choice. The packaging is unique & very rich looking. You'll know that you're holding something special before you even open it. The best part, however, is that once you do open it, you'll find something wonderful on the inside too.
Outstanding June 13, 2008 In one word,WOW.This is definately the icing on the cake. Bought this coffee along with the platinum. The platinum is peaberry, the diamond is even more rare.Beans are incredible.taste is fabulous. This is definately the best in the world.Better than Jamaican Blue. But then not all our taste buds are alike. This is a high end coffee.Would drink this every day if it was possible. It is expensive. But very much worth the money.Low acid, smooth like velvet with a slight smokey taste. Makes for a great gift to anyone.Having tried over probably 50 different coffees this one is the best of the best.
Best Coffee June 4, 2008 My husband and I agree; this is the best coffee we have ever had!
Delicate and lovely flavor, low acidity, and no aftertaste. It is more expensive than other coffee, to be sure, but it is also considerably better.
Not much flavor - very disapppointed May 14, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
My wife and I like strong coffee. Even brewing this at twice the recommended amount it tasted weak. There may be subtle tastes and flavors involved but there just was not much coffee taste. The experience is more like drinking tea.
The only plus is that there is not any bitterness.
This is the best coffee I've experienced on planet earth. period. January 11, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am not a raving optimist and am a highly ciritical comsumer. I have never before publicly rated any product 5 stars. This is a 5-star product. Why? It tastes good :) Seriously, it has near-zero acidity, an inviting aroma, and can be drunk without prior consideration as a "dessert coffee" just as easily as a "breakfast coffe". It's as versatile as a swiss-army-knife and as refined as the highest grade Damast linen. I have had 7 other distinct Kona coffees purchased on my behalf on the Kona island and brought home for me to try. All others Konas were compared to this one and found lacking (in some cases seriously lacking). No "Kona blend" will ever again be found acceptable once you drink this coffee. So, not only is it a 5-star coffee among general coffees (including the "Charbucks" of the world...yech!), but it is a 5-star coffee among other high-achiever coffees.
