The pears were crisp and had a fresh flavor that isn't easy for me to find in pears bought in supermarkets.

I'm a big fan of pears. I especially like Bosc, when eaten with gruyere cheese, for lunch. This is a great sampler for a pear lover. Got Fruit packages their products much better than Harry & David and others. The fruit is attractively boxed, with curlicue wood shavings (or is it stiff paper?)and a foam pad. The presentation is terrific. I received these pears during an especially snowy period, and yet they were fresh, unbruised, and not frozen. I have already ordered Got Fruit gifts for others, and enjoyed these enough to subscribe to Got Fruit's Fruit of the Month program for myself.
