outstanding seasoning September 5, 2008 The shipping was super fast and this product , just goes well on any meat in the smoker to the grill. Dont pour it on or it will be strong. Just put a nice coating on the meat and cook as usual. Paul makes some of the best seasonings on the market. You just cant go wrong with this seasoning mix!
Make your steaks taste A LOT better with just a few shakes! July 10, 2008 "Meat Magic" might as well be called "Steak Magic" because that's what it does to the flavor of beef, magic!! Before trying Meat Magic I was using some basic steak seasoning for grilling steaks thinking that steak seasoning is just steak seasoning right? Wrong!!! I decided to try something different for the annual "Memorial Day Weekend Family Cookout" and picked up some of Paul's Meat Magic. I gently sprinkled the spice on both sides of the meat, all of it! Ribeyes, filets and sirloins!! If it went on the grill and it was beef, it got seasoned with Meat Magic. Oh my God, EVERYONE was asking! What is that you put on the steaks??? They taste so good!!! I mean, I really was suprised, they tasted so awesome. From then on that's all I use, nothing else. No Meat Magic? then no steaks. The downside is, it's expensive! Average price is between $3.00 and $6.00 for just a 2oz bottle so if your a serious meat griller like myself you'd be better off ordering it in "bulk" online which will save you mega $$$. One last recommendation, if you like you beef WELL DONE, sprinkle the spice on 1/2 way through the grilling process as oppesed to putting it on from the start. The spices become "tart" if you burn them. Other then that, enjoy!
The BEST! March 23, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Chef Paul turns out the best most balanced seasonings for meats and fish I've ever found. Meat Magic works on all varieties of meats, and works well with soups, chili, chip dip, and sandwiches. Some find Chef Paul's seasonings to be a little too spicy, but I think they are subdued in their heat quality....just enough. Its wonderful, give it a try.
