Tasty and convenient May 19, 2008
I got a trial granola bar at the Chicago Green Fest. It is a very tasty granola bar. It is small at 40g. and has 130 calories of which 25 are from fat. It has several sweeteners or what I think are sweeteners...(og tapioca syrup. og evaporated cane juice, og invert cane syrup, og molasses)and it is sweet. It has 14g. of sugar. Other ingredients are og rolled oats, og brown rice flour, og raisings (w/ sunflower oil), og flax seed, og soy oil, og hemp seed, og acacia gum, sea salt, natural flavors, og rice bran extract. Thus, it is wheat free. It has 400mg Omega 3.
These granola bars are a convenient snack and better for you than a candy bar or many other brands of granola bars. I think kids would love them. I will buy them in the future.
