Product Description Traditional hot oil popper sits atop a moveable cart base. Modeled after the antique popcorn carts of the early 1900s. Full size (60") working cart w/large storage compartment. All-steel construction. All steel kettle with dual-hinged lids. Twin arm, double-hung kettle suspension. "Old maid" tray for unpopped kernals. 16" solid-core tire with gold spoked wheels. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Fun to watch.

good value October 20, 2008 I would suggest this item for light work It looks bigger in the picture than it is in real life (isn't that always the case).
Popcorn maker June 14, 2008 We love this item - it was a hit at my daughter's birthday party. It is a bit of a pain to clean if you are using it frequently, but for a party or other large gathering, where you would clean once after many uses, it is definitely worth it.
Just a toy, It would take all day to fill the hopper. Cute April 7, 2008 If you want a item just to look at, its great, It would take all day to fill the hopper, and there is no heater in the bottom so the popcorn is cold as soon as it comes out. This is a conversation piece, not a usefull product other than 2-3 very small bags at a time. Full time job keeping any popcorn made. Want popcorn to eat, go the store and buy a tub already made. You could buy a lot for $200.
This is a bottom-of-the-line machine April 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When my first unit didn't work properly, I had it replaced, but the new unit was no better - it just doesn't pop very well.
I tried all kinds of different ideas to improve performance; I plugged the popper into different outlets, I weighted down the flip lids with quarters to prevent the kettle from spitting out unpopped kernels, I waited a long time to heat the unit, and then again to heat the oil before adding my kernels.
With all my experiments, the very best scenario still left 1/4 - 1/3 of the kernels unpopped. Also, the stirring mechanism jammed as popped corn collected under the stirrers.
There are other units available in the same price range with higher wattage that would probably work better.
This one certainly does look cool, but I will stick with my stovetop until I can find a better quality unit.
