This is my favorite mustard, and no retailers in my area will stock it. Go figure!

For whatever reason, the grocery stores where I live have suddenly stopped carrying this mustard. I thought French's might have discontinued it again, but I found it was still available online.
Now there's devotion to a mustard for you. I bought 5 bottles online!
I never have cared for regular mustard, which has too sharp a taste, even a little sour or vinegary. My mother knew this mustard growing up, but it disappeared from shelves for many years. When I was a kid, it reappeared in one grocery store in our town; we'd make a special trip just to go get it. That's when it was known as "onion bit mustard" (I still miss the real bits of onions; I guess they don't squeeze out of a plastic bottle).
This mustard does not have a sharp, tangy bite to it like regular yellow mustard. It is, obviously, sweeter and more mild. It's the only mustard I ever use for hot dogs, hamburgers and sandwiches. When I was living in Ireland for a summer, I made my mother mail me a bottle so I could have it with my hot dogs!

Wonderful change of pace from regular yellow mustard. I can't find this in my local grocery stores and was glad to find it available online.

Excellent mustard. Great on hot dogs. This is the only mustard my wife will eat. We can't buy it locally anymore. Thankfully we found it on Amazon.
