Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Guinea fowl, also known as pintade, has a white meat like chicken but its taste is more reminiscent of pheasant, without excessive gamy flavor. It offers exceptionally high yields - a 50/50 ratio between meat and carcass. It is a moist and meaty bird and also substantially leaner than chicken. They are barn-raised by Grimaud Farms in California without the use of steroids, antibiotics or growth hormones.
