Product Description Cranberry Fool is a unique compote of cranberries, cherries, currants, raisins and vanilla. It is good on everything. Cranberry Fool, a sweet and tart treat without any added sugar, sweeteners, fat, salt or chemicals, is terrific used as a savory condiment with meats and poultry and fish. It is also great on fruit, cheese, cereal and ice cream. And Cranberry Fool is a baker's delight. Sometimes it seems that each person who tries it comes up with a new way to use it.The sweet temptations of the Caramel Sin line of gourmet food items were created as luxurious presents for filmmaker David Hahn's friends. Yummy December 4, 2007 This stuff is amazingly yummy. We got it as a gift to go with some very expensive, very stinky cheese. What a treat!
No Foolin' around December 4, 2007 Cranberry Fool is amazing...terrific on toast, or with a light cheese, or just out of the jar with a spoon. It's much sweeter than I expected and very versatile. And, Cranberries are VERY healthy to boot. The Carmel Sin is killer as well...my kids love it on apples and ice cream. A decadent delight. Makes a terrific gift.
Disappointing October 26, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Saw the product on television years ago when it first hit the market. Finally, got around to purchasing it. I expected a thick, naturally delicious fruit mixture, with predominantly cranberry and cherry flavor. In my experience, it was very reminiscent of cooked prunes and raisins. Way too much money for the product, in my opinion. Sorry.
Use on Swordfish May 30, 2007 If you want something that will truely impress your guests, use on grilled swordfish. Cook the swordfish steak on one side. After you turn the fish, spread Cranberry Fool on the top side and finish cooking. The fish will stay moist as the sauce seals the fish. Your guests will be amazed at this wonderful dish.
This is Great Stuff! February 3, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was surprised by some unexpected guests for dinner. I had not opened the jar before, so I wasn't sure how to use it. I decided to pour it over boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cover the dish with tin foil and bake. It was a hit!! Even my husband liked it, and he is very picky and stuck on old favorites. I just bought a couple more jars.
