| Customer Reviews:
Customer service? July 18, 2008 On July 2nd I placed an order with Traverse Bay Farms for dried cherries. After making several calls and writing various e-mails, I learned I won't receive anything until July 21st, almost three weeks later.
On the weekend of July 12th, I spoke with Jen who told me that my package had most likely been damaged at UPS, but she could not check due to the UPS site being down for updates. On Monday, July 14th, I received an e-mail from Jen stating that, in fact, my package had been damaged by UPS and they would resend another one. The following day I received a tracking number from UPS Quantum view.
Curiously, I received no such tracking number for the first order. Even checking my junk e-mail filter, which dated back to July 3rd, there was no tracking number for the first shipment. Repeated e-mail requests to Jen for the first tracking number were ignored. I placed a call today, July 18th, to Traverse Bay and the rep told me it would be impossible to get me the tracking number of the first order, that it was gone forever, but that the first package was definitely sent. He then suggested that the number was intercepted by a server so that it was never delivered to my e-mail, not even my junk filter. I didn't buy it. Additionally, he continued to blame UPS for damaging many packages. That would mark the first time ever UPS has damaged a package for me.
What is more likely, in my mind, is that Traverse Bay is responsible for the undelivered order and instead of taking responsibility is blaming their shipping company.
Poor customer service, lack of accountability, and lack of communication mean I will be buying my cherries elsewhere going forward.
absolutely delicious and tart March 26, 2007 excellent taste, fresh and good to eat ! arrived quickly
