Very pleased January 28, 2008 I am very happy I was able to find this gum. It is not availble in this area. The price was the best I could I find and the shipment was rather fast.

Product was as listed...shipping seemed a bit excessive for size and wt of product...could have gotton it for the same price by the time I paid shipping...saved me having to leave the house I guess
Where did it go? December 10, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my husband's favorite gum. We can't find it in grocery stores anymore. The blah 'Cinnamon Splash' seems to have taken its place. I hope Trident Sugarless Cinnamon continues to be available via the internet.
Beware--has a lot off "iffy" aritficial sweeteners October 15, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I began buying Trident gum for my daughter because it was advertised as "sugarless" and more importantly, contains Xylitol. Xylitol is commonly used in European countries as a sweetener that prevents tooth decay and produces no insulin rush.
Well, my daughter--a teen--began experiencing diarrhea on a daily basis. We couldn't figure it out--she seemed fine!--except for frequent bathroom breaks. It became so bad that she asked me to pick her up from school, she didn't want to ride the school bus, "just in case".
Finally I thought to look at the ingredients on this gum. When I saw it contains mannitol--a baby laxative--I realized that was the culprit, especially for a girl who goes through 20 pieces a day! Not only that, but on closer inspection I saw that this product contains Sucralose (Splenda) which has an "iffy" reputation, as Acesulfame, a cousin to Nutra-Sweet; both of these are nasties on my list of artificial sweeteners.
I guess it is back to Whole Foods to find chewing gum which contains Xylitol or Stevia (Stevia is my favorite sweetener).
