Sin-A Ginger Chew/Candy has been produced in Indonesiafor the past sixty years and is renowned for its uniquenessand superb quality. The Chew is made of exclusively naturalingredients, no artificial flavoring or preservative is added tothe Chew. In order for the product to maintain its optimal level of ginger flavor without being too pungent for the average consumer, the manufacturer uses only the choicest mature ginger from a specific area in Indonesia, stone-grinds the ginger into fine pulp and then processes it with maltose, cane sugar, tapioca starch. The manufacturer is so keen to maintain its most traditional method of production that even to date, the Chews are still individually wrapped by hand.Due to the high level of ginger juice in the Chew - 8.14%, the product can withstand a shelf-life of 18 months without any preservative. However, the product is susceptible to heat, and therefore is best stored or shelved below 80F.

 Great candy & makes great cup of tea October 8, 2008
I started eating this candy when I was pregnant with my son about 3 years ago. It really helps with nausea and I always keep a pack with me. This also makes a great cup of ginger tea. Just put 2 to 3 of the candies in a cup and pour hot water on them. Start stirring and when they are mostly or completely dissolved, you have a great cup of ginger tea. No need to add sugar or anything else. I have morning sickness again and am constantly eating this candy and making tea with it. I introduced my mother-in-law to it and she loves it now as well. The cup of tea can also help when your stomach hurts and with indigestion.
FYI: Do not try to peel off the second wrapping on the candy. You can eat it since it is made of clear thin rice paper. The rice paper also dissolves in the hot water when making your ginger tea.

I've been looking for this candy since I found it in Hawaii two years ago. My daughter found it online for me at Amazon. The only problem I have is the inner lining sticks to the candy and tears when trying to remove it. Otherwise, it's what I was looking for.

I have used "Ting Ting Jahe Ginger Candy" for over a year now because it helps me with nausea. I have chronic pain and have to take strong narcotic medicine which makes me very nauseated. Even though this is in a candy form, it works and it also has a great taste and is chewy. I recommend this to anyone who has motion sickness, morning sickness, nausea or an upset stomach. I don't know what I would do without it, plus you can get it at a very good price on here.

Great ginger candy. Much easier to open than the old ginger candy. The innter wrapper is rice paper. Spicy, chewy and loaded with flavor.
