Product Description Also known as clotted cream, this British Double Devon Cream is named after the lush green Devon shire where the cows whose milk is used to make this cream graze. Our Double Devon Cream has been made exclusively from the herds of 41 farmhouse cooperatives in North Devon - Southern England - using traditional hand-churning methods for decades. Thick and smooth, this opulent cream is the perfect spread for hot scones and English muffins, spongy cakes, and delicious when used to top strawberries. By The Devon Cream Company of England.

I just love Double Devon Cream! January 21, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
OK, what is Double Devon Cream? Double Devon Cream Butter is made in Southern England using traditional churning methods, which produces a rich, very lightly salted butter. It is somewhat thinner and more spreadable than clotted cream, and has somewhat less fat.
I just love Double Devon Cream! It is delicious, and goes excellently on all manner of muffins and scones. If you want to really treat yourself, bake up some scones, and eat them right out of the oven, spread with Double Devon Cream. I highly recommend it!
yum yum heavenly and sinful at the same time April 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This clotted cream/double devon cream is a very thick cream that you spoon onto scones, muffins, or biscuits during tea (or whenever). You can even spoon it on desserts or fruit. It looks thick and heavy but it melts in your mouth and it's amazingly rich. The bad thing is that the fat content is roughly 55%. It's worth it!
