Delicious, filling and healthy! October 7, 2008 This is my absolute favorite goat cheese out on the market. It is delicious and doesn't have the strong after-taste that is so typical of goat cheeses. Rather the taste is mild. It is much sought after in my house and a top seller in the health food store in town. It is made from raw milk, not pasteurized, which is sought after in the health community. The flavor is wonderful. It can be eaten raw or used for cooking. Plainly put, it is delicious!
Not as good as I hoped... December 10, 2003 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have to say I was disappointed - it may just have been my batch, but the texture was closer to mass-produced supermarket cheddar rather than a raw milk boutique cheese. Rubbery mouth feel and a mild, innocuous taste. I was hoping for much more from this cheese based on the write up and awards. Overall, this is an easy to eat cheese that would be good to serve to friends who are put off by stronger, flavorful cheeses.
