| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A Truffle Gateau is a Belgian chocolate confection like no other chocolate dessert on the market today. Created in their kitchen in California, Linda Bartlett and James Keys wanted to create the ultimate chocolate confection that would satisfy any true chocoholic. They bake with Callebaut Belgian Chocolate and all of the ingredients that make up a Truffle Gateau are 100% pure, without any preservatives. The main ingredient in a Truffle Gateau is pure Belgian chocolate. They're baked like a brownie but have the taste and texture of a rich and creamy truffle. After succeeding in the kitchen, Linda and James decided to enter their Truffle Gateaux at the California State Fair and won the Blue Ribbon, Best of Class for chocolate confections. Raved about in Chocolatier Magazine and at the International Fancy Food Show. Shelf-life is 2 months in freezer, 7 days at room temperature.

Great Present January 24, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ok, this is a little expensive, but that's what good presents are... stuff that you kind of want, but you wont pay for. I bought this thinking that it would just be a really rich & better version of Hershey's chocolate or something. I'm not that good with food. So when I actually tried one, I was suprised... it was pretty rich, but it was like a really really good brownie type thing.
Shove them into a box w/ a bow & makes a great present.
