Fun for parties, NOT fun to eat March 3, 2008 I ordered these with high hopes, but they failed to meet them. The chocolate was awful, and the liquor inside was either tasteless or so bad that you wanted to scrub your tongue with a loofah.
They were delivered when they were promised, so I can't fault the seller, but OMG, that's $30 I could have spent on amazing chocolate instead of giving these a shot. What a waste of money.
I will never order candy online again.
not fresh January 19, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
the prsentration was beautiful and quality looking but they were not fresh ...It was a shame...they gave me a full refund which was very nice ...and I'll try them some time in the future since they were fair to me.
Utterly tasteless "Liquor filled?" chocolate barrels. January 11, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
These were quite tasteless as regards any taste of liquor, and the chocolate was'nt anything to write home about.
Never again.
help promote the liquor industry to the next generation... September 7, 2004 13 out of 17 found this review helpful
These are a bit along the lines of candy cigarettes - I mean - liquor candy?! The alcohol content is so minimal, it's more like cooking sherry. You could probably eat a case of this stuff and get more high from all the sugar in the chocolate before you'd get tipsy. If you let your kids eat rum cake, this shouldn't be too scary, but these are treats I would not share with my own kids. Fun for adults to have in candy jars at little informal get-togethers.
