PLEASE don't ask us to ship plants to any extremely cold location. The plant will not survive. Extreme cold = daytime highs below freezing.
Masdevallia Fire Queen flowers are large and very, very pretty -- this is one of our favorite Masdevallias.
It's a complex hybrid. The breeding is Masdevallia Southern Sun x Masdevallia Monarch.
It's not yet awarded, to our knowledge, so honors are possible.
These are blooming size divisions, actively growing in 3.5 inch pots. They have 6 or 7 leaves and the longest leaf is 5 to 6 inches or more. We always ship the largest.
They seem to be blooming fools, so we're pretty sure these divisions will flower within 12 months. It is not in bloom now.
These fast-growing, compact plants are perfect for windowsill growers and those with limited space. And the great thing is that they produce blooms several times a year.
Mature plants can have literally dozens of flowers.
We have a number of these and we will pick out a nice one for you.
Keep these moist and grow in bright indirect light. Use a humidity tray if your home is exceptionally dry.
