Im reserving my final decision... the leaves are all falling off. I expected some leaves falling but they are all shriveling and falling.
No it doesn't need water, and no it is not over watered.

At first this plant was fine.Full of bright green leaves.It even bloomed one time.Then the problem's started.The leaves started falling off like crazy after I had only had the plant for four days.And in Three weeks the plant was dead.Alerted the seller twice to the problem I was having before the plant died but they were no help at all.There also were not any instructions on how to care for this plant.
