Amazon. com Product Description Packed with contemporary features, the Panasonic KX-TG4323B 5.8 GHz Expandable Cordless Digital Answering Phone System includes handy call waiting and caller ID features, an all-digital answering machine with 12 minutes of recording time, a 50-station shared phonebook, and a digital handset speakerphone. With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Should you choose to expand the answering system to include additional handsets, each handset can be programmed to ring or simply flash at your discretion. The system is compatible with up to three additional handsets (for a total of four). In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this system comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call. Other great features include a 50-station shared phonebook, a handy charge indicator, a backlit LCD display, and a convenient intercom feature. Providing up to five hours of cordless talk time, the handset's rechargeable Ni-MH battery offers up to 11 days of uncharged standby battery life. What's in the Box Base station, and three handsets.
Product Description Now you can program each handset to ring - or not - at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. You don't have to be holding the phone to see who is calling. Caller ID information is announced between rings. The phone also has a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it?s time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a "please charge phone" reminder. Block Unwanted Calls Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's. After the information is stored, those unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. Put a Handset in Every Room With two handsets and the option of adding up to four additional handsets2 - all while using only one base and one phone jack - go ahead and put one in the den, the kitchen, the master bedroom and the living room so you won't have to make a run for it when the phone rings. Never Miss a Call with the Light-Up Indicator. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. So turn off the ringer and never miss a call.

Works great January 6, 2009 This 'system' works very well. One of my main concerns was range. I use one handset as a shop phone so my wife can use the intercom to talk to me. The shop is separate from the house and a pretty good distance from the base. Works just fine. The handsets are small!
Panasonic 5.8 phones December 28, 2008 Excellent, just excellent. Had uniden phones before with interference at the computer and sound was never real clear. With the Panasonic, there is no interference and the sound is crystal clear. Am really pleased with the purchase. I have the base unit and a handset downstairs and 1 handset upstairs in my office next to numerous electronic devices with no problem.
Only thing I'd change on the phone is to make it less smooth to the touch. It can slip out of the hand simply because of it's small size.
You won't be disappointed.
Need better batteries, otherwise 5 stars December 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These work great for a while, but the supplied rechargeable batteries are pretty wimpy. I use the main handset for long conference calls and after a few months the batteries couldn't hold out for more than 15 minutes and then the phone would shut off. I thought the handset was defective but replaced the supplied batteries with name-brand (Sony) rechargeable batteries and everything's fine again. Each handset uses two AAA batteries; fortunately I went to all-rechargeables a couple of years ago so I had plenty of spares to use as replacements.
Cordless Phone December 7, 2008 Really great product. Sound quality is great and they're just small and perfect for the house.
Wrong suggestion from Amazon December 2, 2008 During my purchase Amazon suggested to buy Panasonic KX-TCA60 Hands-Free Headset with Comfort Fit Headband but it's not work with this model. So I have a headset to plug in nothing :(
