Good value for a replacement filter, I do not know how long a filter will last but always have a spare on hand.
Good effective product December 3, 2008
This is a very good and effective product especially when used with the cleaning cartridge. It requires little care and cleans well and easily. The product was delivered quickly and in perfect condition.
 NOT a genuine Honeywell Filter November 20, 2008
For now, I'm giving this 2 stars because it is not a Honeywell filter. According to the box this is a "BestAir Extended Life Humidi*Wick Filter" that is compatible as a generic replacement for the HC-14.
I felt a little "bait and switched" because the title of this product implies this is a Honeywell product. It's not.
I've got 3 of these so I'll run through these and then update my rating.
Not an OEM filter... November 18, 2008
This is not a "Honeywell HC-14 Replacement Filter", it is a replacement for a Honeywell HC-14 filter. Not the most straightforward description from the seller. That said, for all I know, it's a better item. I need the item, so I guess I'll find out about the quality.

The picture of the filter is misleading, it has an additional blue layer on the exterior of item. Filter appears to do the job. For my hard water I flip the filter for a longer life.
