With a raised foot for minimum heat contact underneath, the dish measures 8-1/4 inches in diameter and is 2-1/2 inches deep at its center. This was given as part of a wedding gift set. I have not heard pro nor con about this item from the receiving couple.

I love this bowl! It is perfect for dinners and party settings. I can serve a large variety in here for the family gatherings. It is great for serving vegetables as the name implies. It compliments the rest of the fun festive colors of the fiesta ware that I have!

My husband surprised me with this "vegatable" bowl as it was labeled . The shamrock color are very nice arrived safely well packed. .. My only negative comment was the size discription it was deceptive. Thought it was going to be bigger. I have many of the exact bowls called serving bowls, same size . I already have a surplus of this size but not this color so I will keep it.
Other than that...Its a great bowl

I have added four of these bowls in this size to my Fiestaware collection...two Scarlet Red and two Black. All of my serving pieces are Scarlet Red and Black. They are so stunning together. They can be used for so many things. Just the right size for pasta, vegetables, etc. I have had such a great experience with Amazon and buying pieces to add to my Fiestaware dishes. I have never ordered breakables of any kind before now. The packing was just unbelievable. So much care taken. No breaks, chips or imperfections of any kind to any of the pieces I have ordered. Timely shipping. Don't hesitate buying your fiestaware from Amazon. You won't be disappointed!
