Amazon.com Review Celebrated in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s for its streamlined art deco look and colorful glazes, Fiestaware is enjoying a remarkable comeback today. While older pieces fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars at auction, the new line is available in the same design at affordable prices. Today's Fiestaware also offers a new palette of bright and colorful lead-free glazes: with over 10 colors to choose from, you can mix and match pieces for a custom, personalized set. This 7-1/4-inch salad plate complements Fiestaware dinnerware and accessories such as candlesticks, carafes, and vases. Fiestaware dinnerware is casual but stylish because of its retro look and bold palette--a great fit for contemporary kitchen decor. --Emily Wolf

Periwinkle stands up better than cobalt blue though... January 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought a set of the cobalt blue about three and a half years ago and they started getting scratches almost immediately within 6 months. Then I thought I'd try these periwinkle plates and I'm pleased to say that these hold up quite a bit better after 3 years of constant use. I like the color and Fiestaware allows you to mix and match with no problem. These should last many years.
functional, but they get knife marks August 18, 2005 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these plates after I already had the rest of the matching dishes. I already knew that I was not pleased with them but had to complete my set of dishes and will have to tolerate them as long as they last. They are really sturdy and go with everything BUT they get the 'knife-marks' - grey scratch marks from utensils scraping them. I imagine that there are white dishes out there somewhere that are not subject to this flaw, and if there are I hope to find them, but these are not them.
Excellent Service, Excellent Product April 7, 2004 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recently ordered 2 sets of 4 white fiestaware salad plates from amazon.com - using the super saver shipping option - and received them in less than a week - unbroken, packed carefully, all 8 of them - no complaints whatsoever. These are great little plates - solidly made, classic design - I'll certainly order more items from amazon.com to complete my set.
I got all four March 5, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Whatever problems there were before seem to be fixed, because I did indeed get a set of four plates. Color's beautiful! Packed very well so nothing broke during shipment.
I never got any bowls. February 17, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
5 stars- I like the quality of Fiestaware and Cinnabar is a pretty color. I ordered 4 Fiestaware salad plates and 4 cereal bowls. My salad plates came but the bowls were backordered, and backordered, and are now cancelled! However, Amazon was fair, as I was not charged for the bowls. I hope this vendor gets it more together.
